WELDER/FITTER COMBO

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

The main responsibilities of this role include:

  • Read, interpret and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately fabricate pressure vessels
  • Basic hand tool use required
  • Perform cutting, laying out, fitting, and tacking on ASME vessels and pipes.
  • Cut, thread, hammer pipes according to pipe system specifications
  • Perform quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standards
  • Rework and/or repair welded structures according to engineering specification changes
  • Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATION:

  • Minimum 2 years welding experience may be required
  • Able to pass a 6G pipe 2inch double X pipe welding test with GMAW and FCAW
  • Basic reading skills. Must be able to follow directions
  • Basic computer navigation and utilization skills
  • Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly
  • Ability to use thinking and reasoning to solve a problem and to think in such a way as to produce a new concept or idea
  • High attention to detail and self-motivation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, proficient in oral and written communications
  • Ability to work and communicate well with others

FITTER

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

The main responsibilities of this role include:

  • Perform cutting, laying out, fitting & tacking on ASME vessels and pipes.
  • Cut, thread, hammer pipes according to pipe system specifications
  • Perform quality work checks to insure the product meets quality standards
  • Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATION:

  • Experience with ASME Specifications
  • Basic reading skills. Must be able to follow directions
  • Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly
  • Ability to use thinking and reasoning to solve a problem and to think in such a way as to produce a new concept or idea
  • High attention to detail and self-motivation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, proficient in oral and written communications

ASME CODE WELDER

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

The main responsibilities of this role include:

  • Read, interpret and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately fabricate pressure vessels

  • Set up and weld parts using welding equipment.
  • Perform quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standards
  • Rework and/or repair welded structures according to engineering specification changes
  • Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATION:

ASSEMBLER

POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsible for putting together the various parts of a particular product. Assembly workers prepare and position parts for assembly, ensure each component is fastened together correctly, check connections and log any discrepancies. They read measurements, verify specifications, measure completed components, and assemble parts to approved specifications.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Must have knowledge of assembling thread pipe
  • Structural and socket welding
  • Utilizes working knowledge of different types of components
  • May assist with bending tubing ¼” to 1” carbon or stainless steel
  • Understands basic blueprints
  • Must be able to hang bottles, install welded pipe, install fuel filter, mount oil cooler,
    make supports and braces, air test systems, set scrubbers, install pumps
  • Follow all HSE guidelines
  • Good safety practices
  • Willingness to learn
  • Housekeeping

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum two (2) years industrial experience

PHYSICAL STRAIN

  • Bending, squatting, climbing, pulling, twisting, reaching, working at elevated heights
  • Lifting up to 50 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying objects weighing up to 30 pounds
  • Must be able to work outside in extreme temperatures or in a shop environment
