WELDER/FITTER COMBO

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

The main responsibilities of this role include:

  • Read, interpret and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately fabricate pressure vessels
  • Basic hand tool use required
  • Perform cutting, laying out, fitting, and tacking on ASME vessels and pipes.
  • Cut, thread, hammer pipes according to pipe system specifications
  • Perform quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standards
  • Rework and/or repair welded structures according to engineering specification changes
  • Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATION:

  • Minimum 2 years welding experience may be required
  • Able to pass a 6G pipe 2inch double X pipe welding test with GMAW and FCAW
  • Basic reading skills. Must be able to follow directions
  • Basic computer navigation and utilization skills
  • Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly
  • Ability to use thinking and reasoning to solve a problem and to think in such a way as to produce a new concept or idea
  • High attention to detail and self-motivation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, proficient in oral and written communications

FITTER

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

ASME CODE WELDER

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

The main responsibilities of this role include:

  • Read, interpret and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately fabricate pressure vessels
  • Basic hand tool use required
  • Set up and weld parts using welding equipment.
  • Perform quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standards
  • Rework and/or repair welded structures according to engineering specification changes
  • Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATION:

ASSEMBLER

POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsible for putting together the various parts of a particular product. Assembly workers prepare and position parts for assembly, ensure each component is fastened together correctly, check connections and log any discrepancies. They read measurements, verify specifications, measure completed components, and assemble parts to approved specifications.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Must have knowledge of assembling thread pipe
  • Structural and socket welding
  • Utilizes working knowledge of different types of components
  • May assist with bending tubing ¼” to 1” carbon or stainless steel
  • Understands basic blueprints
  • Must be able to hang bottles, install welded pipe, install fuel filter, mount oil cooler,
    make supports and braces, air test systems, set scrubbers, install pumps
  • Follow all HSE guidelines
  • Good safety practices
  • Willingness to learn
  • Housekeeping

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum two (2) years industrial experience

PHYSICAL STRAIN

  • Bending, squatting, climbing, pulling, twisting, reaching, working at elevated heights
  • Lifting up to 50 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying objects weighing up to 30 pounds
  • Must be able to work outside in extreme temperatures or in a shop environment

Project Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION:

****This position does work remotely.

  1. Some of these direct duties and responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
    • Highly proficient with Codeware Compress. Provide Mechanical engineering support for completing Compress vessel calculations for new vessel designs, repairs and altered vessels.
    • Use advanced technical knowledge to perform engineering assignments including complex problems and to complete any project tasks with minimal guidance and direction.
    • Competent to perform all process engineering functions including deliverables such as feasibility and optimization studies, process simulations and heat and material balances, process equipment sizing, process data for instrument and mechanical data sheets, hydraulic piping line sizing and other philosophies and reports. In addition, highly competent to perform relief calculations.
    • Develop P&ID’s and all other necessary engineering documents to allow the Design & Drafting team to efficiently and accurately develop engineered drawings for our products.
    • Support project management and manufacturing personnel with reporting, scheduling, staffing, planning, and coordination as needed.
    • Ability to check Engineering calculations as well as check drawings in accordance with industry codes and standards.
    • Initiate regular communication between all engineering disciplines to ensure quality of work and that consistent technical content is maintained for all design documents/data throughout the projects.
  1. Work closely with applications, estimating, and proposals personnel to review RFQs and provide proper equipment designs, vessel and pipe sizing details, and all other necessary process data related to quoting our products and services.
  2. Work directly with Customers (when required) as it relates to project engineering details, product design and development, drawing transmittals, clarifications, and any other necessary engineering related communications (drawing/model reviews, HAZOPs, weekly meetings, site visits, etc.).

Salary: $63,986.00 – $130,000.00 per year
